Horror film fans rejoice! The good people over at Columbia Pictures have officially released the poster and title for the sequel of 2009’s “Zombieland”.

And, the title is, drum roll, please, “Zombieland Double Tap”, as in, best shoot those zombies twice to make sure that they not be coming back to bite you.

The poster looks pretty snazzy too.

Don’t you think?

If you haven’t been keeping up with the magic that is now officially known as “Zombieland Double Tap”, here’s what you need to know….

The film will see Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin and Woody Harrelson reprise their roles as an unluckily group struggling to make their way across a zombie ridden America in the hopes of finding a safe place – Canada, maybe?

The film’s original screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick as well as its director Ruben Fleische will also be returning.

Our good ol’ zombie friends will be back too. Maybe they’ll even be able to speak this time? That would be pretty cool.

The film is set for an October 19, 2019 release date – that’s 10 years since the release of the first. Mind = blown.

Speaking on the film, the president of Columbia Pictures Sanford Panitch said: “This is one of those projects that fans have wanted to see happen for a long time – and no one wanted to see it happen more than Emma, Woody, Jesse, and Abigail. These are some of the most in-demand actors and I think they are making this movie because they love these characters.”

Yes Sanford, we love the characters a lot so, please don’t let Reese or Wernick kill any of them off. Or, ruin it.
