Bigger really is better at Zengo. While some may find the sheer size of this restaurant somewhat intimidating, the bold design, expanses of dark wood and minimalist vibe make for a surprisingly intimate and relaxed setting.

After dinner, spend the night bar-hopping. With no fewer than three bars, each with its own unique theme – mist, fire and smoke – with a tantalising signature tipple to match, finishing dinner is only the halfway point.
Put some ponzu on your palate. If there’s one running theme here, it’s the adornment of this citrus-based dark soy which is then infused with ingredients from tomatoes to truffles.
Zengo is a meeting of minds. This is the brainchild of Mexican celeb chef Richard Sandoval, who’s famed for his booming Latin haunts in Dubai, Toro Toro and Maya, and celebrated Singaporean chef Akmal Anuar. The collaboration sees Sandoval’s traditional Latin flavours given an Asian spin, creating the perfect culinary storm.
