Zach Galfianakis felt so terrible about poking fun at his The Hangover co-star Bradley Cooper in his new movie he called him to apologise after watching the trailer.
The funnyman takes aim at Bradley in Between Two Ferns: The Movie, calling him a "hot idiot", and admits he felt awful after watching himself utter the words for the first time.
"I don’t want to hurt people, but I do want to make them feel weird. There’s a fine line there,” Galifianakis tells Variety. "I called him when I saw the trailer... I was like, 'I called you a hot idiot'.
"He just laughed. He doesn't care. He’s good-natured that way."
Galifianakis' new movie debuted on Netflix on Friday. It features Matthew McConaughey, Jon Hamm, Keanu Reeves, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tiffany Haddish.
