Yet ANOTHER suspected teen suicide in Sharjah!
Sharjah has been hit with upsetting news once again following the death of a 16-year-old girl who fell from the seventh floor of a building in Abu Shagara on Tuesday at 11:30am.
Early investigations by police officers from Al Gharb station suggests that “the girl may have jumped from an open window of her family flat.” Police are questioning the parents and the incident still remains under investigation, according to Gulf News.
School authorities said that “the teenage girl had not been attending school for the last three days,” and according to the family’s neighbours “the family was nice and quiet and had lived in the building for six years.” A woman who lives in the same building on the fifth floor stated that she “saw the girl on the ground after the fall.” She further added: ““I heard a scream. I went to my balcony and looked down and saw a body on a car. Then her body fell on the ground. People rushed to the girl until the ambulance came and took the girl away.”
This comes only a few days after an 11-year old allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of the Al Jawaher building in Sharjah.
