Yasmin Le Bon’s Back on the Runway

Supermodel Yasmin Le Bon may be nearly 50 years old, but we think she still looks incredible. The British-Iranian wife of Duran Duran rocker Simon Le Bon is true fashion royalty – she’s graced the covers of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and has worked for iconic brands like Chanel and Christian Dior. Now, the mum-of-three is working as the muse for Stéphane Rolland’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

“I was totally engulfed by her beauty and persona. She is gentle, yet assertive… spicy, yet fresh… classic, yet rock ‘n’ roll. A great muse!” the designer gushed.

Strutting down the runway to close his show, Yasmin wore a dramatic red gown comprising 45 metres of draped jersey, and a four-metre train. It also featured lacquered metal sculptural panelling inspired by architecture. A true work of art!
