World-Renowned Inakaya Opens at the Venetian Village in Abu Dhabi
Inakaya has finally made its debut in Abu Dhabi. Now connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine residing in the capital can have a traditional dining experience in the Venetian Village at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal.
The restaurant is best described as an 'interactive theatre' presenting a dining experience called robatayaki – a Japanese grilling art that is as much a performance than a way of cooking. You will be greeted by enthusiastic staff dressed in kimono's and happi coat-style uniforms and diners will be able to enjoy a range of culinary choices served on a 1.2 meter-long paddle by the yakikata, also known as grill-masters. Sanbon jime, a musical clapping ceremony finishes the meal in peace and harmony. Diners may also be able to participate in the mochi pounding ceremony where you can witness how to make the delicious sweet rice cake. Celebrities like Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have taken part in this tradition at Inakaya Tokyo.
With their branches in Tokyo, New York and Colombia, this is a popular place if you are looking for authentic Japanese cooking. So if you are craving some Far-Eastern fare with a lively ambiance, then head down to the Ritz for a great taste of Japan.
