Bello Nock, who holds the Guinness World Record for the highest wire walk, is in Dubai and he's got his sights set high! Complete with his trademark hairstyle, the stuntman headed into town today (17 June) and promptly visited Ahlan! Together with his team, he's taking a tour of the city to look at a number of Dubai’s famous landmarks, including Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. “There are so many amazing, iconic structures here in Dubai. It will be difficult to choose where to perform my next stunt,” Bello told us. “I’m hoping locals with a knowledge of their home city will be able to help.”
Famous for his live performances and stunts at different New York City landmarks, including Madison Square Garden and the Statue of Liberty, this daredevil's a showman all the way. In one of his acts, the Time magazine Entertainer of the Year even rode an elephant through the New York City Midtown Tunnel!
He's now on a world tour to promote his latest act ‘The Ultimate,’ which, he said, is his “most daring stunt yet.” The tour will end in Las Vegas, where Bello will be performing 15 stunts in 15 minutes or less.
Bello comes from a long line of circus performers. He has worked with the Big Apple Circus and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, where he starred in Bellobration.
Describing his visit to Dubai so far as "inspirational”, Bello said he hopes to come back to perform.
