After a tumultuous week in which she felt betrayed by pal Simon Cowell, after being axed as Judge from not one but two X Factor shows, Cheryl Cole has finally found solace in manager Will.I.Am who has devised a comeback plan that is set to make her a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood.
Cheryl only recently signed up Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am as her new manager and he has fast become a rock for the former Girls Aloud singer, acting as her mentor and friend. Now sources say the rapper has urged Cheryl not to give up, revealing “He has urged her to keep pushing her profile Stateside.”
Showing his support Will revealed, “She always comes back stronger, and she always comes back bigger. Cheryl has been through rougher things than this, so this is going to be no problem for her.”Adding, “The X Factor is not the only way for Cheryl to break the US, it’s not like it’s the only show on television.”
Proving she is resolute in her plans to avenge Simon Cowell for allowing her to be replaced on the US talent show by Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl is still thought to be house hunting in LA and has already ditched C-list star Derek Hough, meaning she is on the market for a more A-list man that could help rocket her profile.
Yet, also desperate to hone in on her solo artist success, Will.I.Am revealed he is hoping to take the British star down a different route from TV, insisting he plans for her to find success in the USA through her voice – “And remember that Cheryl is a recording artist first. Over the next few months she’s potentially going to be working with artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Usher and, of course, the Peas.”
