Newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tried to surprise their wedding guests by originally flying them to a different country. The Sexyback singer, who married the Total Recall actress in an intimate ceremony near Naples, Italy, on 19 October reportedly had their guests flown to Germany first in a desperate bid to keep their wedding location a secret before a private jet took them on to Italy at the last possible moment.
A source told USMagazine.com: ''Justin wanted to be very slick with it.''
The couple have allegedly inked a deal with People magazine and full details of their special day, including photographs, will be published next Wednesday.
The couple, who got engaged in December after more than five years together, said in a statement: ''It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.''
Guests were treated to several days of celebrations as part of the high profile destination wedding.
On Thursday (18 October) the couple hosted a party where guests relaxed around open fires and dined on fresh-made cheese, local olives and wine. The previous night (17 October), the group enjoyed a beach party with fireworks and live music, and on Wednesday (16 October) as guests were arriving, they held a low key drinks reception.
It has been reported that Justin, 31, was to perform a special dance to 30-year-old Jessica's favourite song from his boy band days with 'N Sync, It's Gonna Be Me, at the wedding.
A source said: ''Justin has been working on this for months. Jessica used to love the track growing up and he wants it as a special treat. It will be very much tongue-in-cheek. There will be loads of exaggerated boy band moves and poses. She's going to love it.''
