White Dubai is a Winner

I treated a Bollywood princess to the most regal party in the UAE.
What a busy week it's been for me and the team! As well as 20 schools in 20 days Rossi, Priti, Brent Black and I have also been working hard to ensure we get some world-class talent for RedFestDXB, and all I can say at this point is that the line-up looks pretty amazing.

But as exciting as all of that is, the highlight of my week was definitely letting my corn rows down at the opening party of White Dubai. The venue was spectacular and the all-white decor was the perfect setting for the event, which saw the most beautiful and glamorous citizens of Dubai flock to the spot.
I've been to White Dubai a few times in the past, but after seeing it listed in this year's Hot 100 Bars and Clubs I knew it was the place for me to take my esteemed guest Nargis Fakhri for a night out. For those of you who don't know, Nargis is Bollywood royalty and a runway star who has made guest appearances on America's Next Top Model and acted in films with Jason Statham. She's used to hanging out at A-list haunts, and she said that White Dubai was right up there with some of the best clubs.

Mum's The Word

My mother, Gilda, is an absolute legend and if I'm really honest, I'd say she's my heroine. Having said that, I didn't realise how much of a celebrity she'd become in the UAE, and it's all down to me! Since she's been here on holiday, she's co-hosted the Virgin Radio Breakfast show and she's been having a blast. The other day, we were stopped by a fan who asked for an autograph, and just as I whipped out my pen I realised they wanted her signature, not mine! Talk about an ego check!

Step In The Ring With Me!

I've always fancied myself as a bit of a Rocky wannabe, so I enjoy seeing grown men step into the ring and battle it out one-on-one, and that's why I'm so excited and proud to be hosting the Global Fighting Championship on Thursday 16th.
The GFC brings together the best heavyweights in kickboxing, with the champion walking away with a spectacular grand prize of Dhs1million! This will be the second series of the event down at Dubai Tennis Stadium, so if you like watching hot and sweaty muscular men showing off years of training, with me providing some comic relief, this is the place to be.
