When Will Self-Driving Cars Make It To Doha?

Driving in Doha is such a pain. Crazy traffic, bad drivers distracted by their mobile phones and constant construction. Don't you wish you could just relax on the road and let your car drive for you? It seems like something out of a sci-fi film, but the reality is closer than you think. The Google Self-Driving Car has driven more than 700,000 miles safely and Elon Musk have announced that the first Self-Driving Tesla will hit the roads in the US in just three months. So how long until these little beauties make it to Doha?

Rumour has it that we will only have to wait until 2027!

There are so many things to be gained by having a car that drives itself. It would free up your hands to do work on your daily commute. It would stop your blood pressure from rising when you're dodging illegal overtaking. It would decrease traffic and congestion. It would be fun!

And don't you worry - it won't just be Tesla's that are self-driving. By 2020, it's estimated that you will be able to buy a whole range of cars that can drive themselves, from Mercedes to BMW.

We can't wait!
