This will change the world of instant messaging

How many times have you sent a message on Whatsapp and wish you hadn't?

It's happened to all of us, but now things might be changing! According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features, the messaging app is finally testing a new feature that recalls sent messages, called 'Delete for Everyone'.

Even better news? The feature will be available for both Android and iOS users!

"The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message" said WABetaInfo in a tweet.

With this feature, Whatsapp users will be able to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies within a five-minute window, The Independent reported on Tuesday, according to Khaleej Times.

This five-minute window is essential, as messages will not be able to be recalled after this timeframe.

With over 1.2 billion monthly active users, WhatsApp is available in more than 50 different languages around the world. Can you imagine how many messages will be recalled once the feature is available?
