One of the main cast members revealed some bad news
The Devil Wears Prada was an iconic film that we’ve all watched far too many times, but it looks like we’re all just going to have to keep watching it because there won’t be a sequel!
When asked about a possible sequel to the fashion-focussed film Stanley Tucci, who played Andy’s mentor, said, “That’s never going to happen… Sometimes it’s best just to leave things. If you try to redo it, let’s face it, there are very few sequels that actually work."
He received a lifetime achievement honour at the Deauville Film Festival in France on Saturday 3 September, and though he was grateful, the humble actor believed he hadn’t achieved enough to warrant it.
Tucci will be featuring in the series Feud where he’ll be playing studio boss, Jack Warner alongside co-stars Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange.
It looks like we won’t be seeing the scary Miranda Priestly on our screens again, then!
