The very high temperatures experienced across the UAE last week are expected to stay for the next few days, according to a report in Gulf News.
The report quoted a NCMS forecaster who stated that average temperatures in the internal areas are expected to be between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius in the coming days, reaching a maximum of 49 degrees Celsius.
Average temperatures in the coastal areas are expected to be between 39 and 43 degrees Celsius with a maximum of 47 degrees Celsius, while mountainous areas can expect cooler temperatures of 32 to 36 degrees Celsius, the report said.
Further, humidity will reportedly remain high at around 90 to 95 per cent in the western coastal areas and 60 to 75 per cent in the eastern areas.
The report also said that the NCMS has advised people to be careful if they are out at noon.
