If you're a major fan of the BBC's Blue Planet,  you will want to listen up! Next month you have the chance to hear David Attenborough speaking live at the Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, which will be broadcast live here in Dubai.

Thanks to a collaboration with the Emirates Literature Foundation, the iconic nature show host's talk at the festival will be shown live at Novo Cinema, Dubai Festival City, from 3.30pm on 6 October. The 92-year-old broadcaster will be will be discussing his new edition of the ground-breaking Life on Earth, and assessing how the world has changed since its original publication 40 years ago.

And it doesn't stop there. 

Also on the line-up is acclaimed novelist Kate Atkinson, author of Behind the Scenes at the Museum, Life After Life and One Good Turn will also be speaking. She will be discussing her new novel, Transcription.

British academic Mary Beard will also be appearing at the festival. Women & Power – A Manifesto is the latest work from renowned classicist, and according to the organisers, "She will be dissecting the cultural underpinnings of misogyny, from the classical world to the modern day, from Medusa and Athena to Theresa May and Hillary Clinton, and discussing how we can change the narrative around women and power."
