Kim Kardashian has admitted she was more nervous about the Met Gala than her own wedding

Weddings are one of the most memorable occasions of your life, so being nervous for it isn't much of a surprise. In fact, we think it wouldn't be normal if you're NOT nervous for your wedding.

But it seems like Kim Kardashian is an exception.

The TV personality just admitted that she found the 2019 Met Gala more nerve-wracking than her own wedding to Kanye West.

The fashion event that happened in May was camp-themed, and Kim totally slayed the carpet with her custom-made, Thierry Mugler dress, covered in droplet-shaped crystals. Mugler had to come out his retierment just to make the dress for her!

You'd probably assume Kim would be used to big events like this, considering how she attended the previous gala several times already. But in a new teaser clip for her family's reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim admitted that she wasn't even that nervous about her wedding to rapper Kanye in Florence, Italy.

In the teaser, Kim told her glam squad about her lingering anxiety hours before walking the carpet. She said: "It's the morning of the Met, and I just keep on saying, 'I don't know why I have such anxiety for the Met, I feel this sense of pressure, responsibility,"

"This is like probably as nerve-wracking as my wedding like I don't know why I get so nervous for the Met. Maybe even more so, just because there's pictures from every single angle." she continued.

The socialite also mentioned how she felt immense pressure to achieve Thierry's vision, especially because it was her "dream come true" to work with the French designer.

"It's a huge responsibility for me because he, I'm sure after not designing for 20 years, wants it to be something magical and special and new... I just want it to be perfect," the 38-year-old explained.

The short clip also showed her getting cinched into the tight corset of her dress, which the mother-of-four previously revealed required her to undertake special breathing lessons to wear.
