Viet Nom at W Doha Hotel

The best thing about Vietnamese food is that it’s incredibly healthy and cheap, and the eight-course Viet meal at Spice Market delivers on both counts. You start your Vietnamese adventure with lobster summer rolls and a salad of grilled squid, fennel and cucumber – perfect for sharing. Then comes the crispy fried tofu: a surprisingly juicy dish, smothered in coconut chili slaw. One of the highlights is the oxtail and shaved beef pho, where a kettle full of hot water is poured over raw noodles and beef with a dramatic flourish. The spices in the amazing noodle soup took eight hours to cook and smell amazing! The jumbo prawn and pineapple curry was a delight as well. The Vietnamese coffee granite and vanilla meringue is an incredible creation that gives you your coffee fix, and is the perfect way to finish your evening. A Namtastic way to start the week!
