Vic’s Fashion Week Diet Deadline
With just three weeks to go until she reveals her seventh collection at New York Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham is hard at perfecting not just her hotly anticipated spring line – she’s also working overtime on getting her size zero body back too.
In hiding since the birth of longed-for daughter Harper Seven just six weeks ago, Victoria is planning to reveal her dramatic post-pregnancy weight loss to the world at the show for her eponymous label’s latest collection on September 11.
“Victoria was determined to get her pre-pregnancy figure back, and had a plan all mapped out,” revealed a source. “She set herself the goal of getting back into her size 4 jeans by the start of August.”
Working out with personal trainer Valerie Waters, who’s credited with getting stars like Jennifer Garner, Uma Thurman and Kate Beckinsale back in shape after their pregnancies, Vic’s also been getting diet advice from one of fashion’s most famous skinnies – fellow new mum, Rachel Zoe. Despite giving birth just three months ago, the stylist has already regained her super-slim pre-pregnancy figure, and has been offering tips to Victoria on how to shed her baby weight in time for her New York runway show.
“Vic has devised her day-to-day plan and says she is going to do exactly what Rachel did to get her body back quickly,” continued the source. “Valerie has given her a gentle post-pregnancy workout plan, which she’ll stick to five days a week, and reckons she’s about six kilos to lose to get back into shape – that’s do-able.”
Locking herself away in her Malibu holiday home where she’s imposed a strict food regime, Vic’s following a no-carb, no-sugar diet of just green vegetables and low-fat proteins in her bid to be sample size perfect for the September 11 show – but with Rachel Zoe by her side to help, we wonder – will Victoria return to the spotlight thinner than ever?
