Vanilla Ice Says It’s Over For Bieber
Former rap sensation Vanilla Ice has warned teen singer Justin Bieber to enjoy his time at the top while he can, insisting fame won’t last.
The one-hit wonder, real name Rob Van Winkle, rapidly rose to fame with his 1990 track Ice Ice Baby but struggled to maintain his success. And while Justin has received more than just one record hit, Rob still predicts the Baby hitmaker will suffer the same fate.
The rapper said, "I mean, I did Ice Ice Baby when I was 16. So I can kind of relate a bit. Sold over a hundred million records. And I had a weekend that lasted about three years, and I didn't know who I was, what's my purpose in life.”
Adding, "So my prediction about Bieber is that he's going to go through one of those weekends that lasts a few years because he's had such success as a child act. Then something else new will come along and he'll be forgotten and he can try to put all the pieces back together, so it's going to be entertaining to watch."
If that’s the case Bieber you better start investing in your millions now, however we think there's longevity in you yet...
