Famous American lighter brand Zippo is set to give Middle Eastern rock bands a chance to shine thanks to a competition with Makshoof Music, the online music community of Triplew.me.
The competition will give the Middle East’s rock music community a boost by offering local rock bands a chance to make their own music video and ‘rockumentary’.
Bands will perform in front of a panel of judges including David Warfel, the Global Marketing Director of Zippo, Paul Kelly, Co-Founder of Makshoof Music and James Piecowye, presenter of Dubai Eye’s Nightline Their three favourite bands will get the chance to make their own rockumentary to showcase their music to the Arab World. Fans will then vote for their favourite band to ultimately win the competition.
