UAE, brace yourselves for a boiling August
Remember to stay hydrated!

July and August are the hottest months on the UAE calendar.

This month saw highs of 50 degrees, and it seems that August will be just as relentless, with the weather expected to get even hotter.

Based on historical data from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), reports Gulf News, July recorded an average maximum temperature of 47.9 degrees from 2003 to 2016, while August recorded 48 degrees.

The same pattern is expected to continue till August 22 this year, after which the weather is expected to get better, slowly.

For the remainder of summer, which in the UAE lasts from June to September, the intense daytime heat will continue, but evenings will be more bearable. September will see an around 3 degrees drop in temperature compared to August, with a maximum temperature of 45 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees.

We're waiting for September!
