Drummer James Sinclair adds, “We’re
delighted to have signed with AABME - we think that this partnership represents
a significant step on the road to the international exposure we feel we are
ready for. Having played some big gigs in the region and enjoyed success with Empires
we can’t wait to take the JD sound into Europe and North America.”

Fans with Maroon 5
Control, the second single from Empires,
was released over the summer and is being played on heavy rotation on a number
of UAE radio stations. The video for the song was filmed when the band opened
for Maroon 5 in Dubai in front of 10,000 enthusiastic fans and is destined for
major airplay around the region and beyond.

Dhabi Gig
In November, the band has been invited
to perform on the main stage at the Abu Dhabi Yasalam festival and is scheduled
to play a number of gigs throughout winter. In the new year the band are
planning to head back into the studio to record some fresh material, much of
which is already taking shape and will be debuted at various gigs in the coming
months. The band and their new management team are also planning a number of
ventures in the US and UK.
