Her PB: Running a Pink Bootcamp in October to raise funds for and awareness of breast cancer.
Her Workout Plan: “In Dubai there are lots of women like me who look good in their 20s and then life gets in the way. I want to help them reach their fitness goals, but I just want them to see how easily fitness can slot into their life. So I keep the workout as varied as possible, using TRX, kettlebells and weighted balls. I train my client at the gym, in the park or if they’re mums - and they need to be close to the children - at their own home. It’s amazing what you can do with a set of stairs!”
Her Next Target: Plans to launch more community initiatives aimed at busy women. The first being a healthy bodies club, where likeminded women will train together to encourage and support each other, and learn about nutrition.

Omar Al Duri, Platform 3 Fitness
His Stats: BA honours sports science and education.
His PB: “I graduated from Arsenal Soccer school but left due to injury. So I studied sports science so I can stop others from making the same mistake. When it comes to training, variety for me is key, which is why I installed a climbing wall at the gym as well as ropes and cables… It’s far more interesting to use these than to ask someone to run on a treadmill for 20 minutes. Plus if you keep doing the same thing, clients will get bored and won’t be as motivated to come to their sessions.”
His Workout Plan: Launched Platform 3 fitness, the first gym in Dubai that offers personal training, nutrition and sports therapy to each client.
His Next Target: Omar aims to encourage the UAE to live a healthier life through their work at Platform 3 and open more branches in 2012.

Shane Rutherford, B2B Fitness
His Stats: Australia Institute Sport, Chek Level 1, post natal training and injury rehab specialist.
His PB: Shane says that a big learning curve for him was preparing one of his clients for a fitness modelling competition in the UK. He also trained Guinness World Record challenger Katie Pattinson- Hart for free to prepare her for her charity row across the Atlantic.
His Workout Plan: “I reset everyone’s goals every four weeks and I set them tasks, eg some people might want to run a 10km. I make sure they are accountable for themselves. I want them to get engaged not just pay and leave.”
His Next Target: Launching the B2B Weekend Fitness Camp at Hatta Fort. Through workouts, yoga and mountain treks, Shane plans to push clients to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Phil Parkinson, The Circuit Factory
His Stats: National Association of Sports Medicine professional.
His PB: Launching The Circuit Factory, a back-to-basics group workout.
His Workout Plan: “I’ve launched the Circuit Factory, where clients get a PT for a fraction of the price. Throughout circuits and food diaries, we guarantee that they will get into shape. We don’t use new fangled products: just a space, dumbbells, weight plate and cards with names of exercises on them. But it works - we had one client who lose 35lb in 72 days. I keep the classes fresh as I have 155 exercises that I can pick from for any one session.”
His Next Target: Phil plans to take this workout to a wider audience by increasing the amount of venues and releasing a DVD so that fans who follow them elsewhere in the GCC via Facebook can also try a class.

Jonathan Clayton, My Fitness Factory
His Stats: Fitness Institute of Australia instructor, postnatal, kettlebell and TRX certification.
His PB: Jonathan has just launched a kettlebell certification for other PTs in the UAE. He ran two courses this year and six more are planned for next year. On top of this he helped raise funds for 31 Heroes forces charity, and raised awareness of global warming with an SUP session around the World.
His Workout Plan: “I tend to train my clients outdoors and away from the gym. Workouts can include anything from kettlebell sessions to handstands and wheelbarrows in the park. A lot of my clients have been with me a long time so I keep educating myself so that I can offer them more. To keep it fresh, I continually set goals with my clients. I had one lady who initially just wanted to lose weight and then when she reached target, I trained her for a sprint triathlon.”
His Next Target: He plans to develop an equipment free Bodyweight Training Course.
