It’s been a huge year. I’ve had four number-one hits on the iTunes Middle East chart and in Morocco.
I feed off the buzz of large crowds. Beats on the Beach at the Abu Dhabi F1 drew 25,000 people, Los 40 Principales in Palma and Tenerife had over 40,000 attendees, while the Hoceima festival in Morocco attracted 25,000.
Performing on the main stage with Virgin DJ Kris Fade at RedFestDXB was such a thrill. He’s a good friend and our collaboration In It For Love was so well-received by the public; it was fantastic to be featured alongside The Script and Iggy Azalea.
Collaborations create spectacular music. Another one of my hits, Mektab/Destiny, was recorded with Arabic superstar Rhany.
I am a car buff. You’ll often find me taking out a nice ride and putting the pedal to the metal – not exceeding the 120km speed limit of course!
I’m not a clubber. If I’m not performing or attending an event, I hardly go out.
50Cent made something out of nothing, and became a businessman while staying true to his art at the same time.
I plan on releasing an album in 2015. I will also go on tour with Latin superstars Romeo Santos and Marc Anthony.
