Two New Metro Stations for Dubai!
Metro Time!

It’s finally happening! Two more Metro stations will open in Dubai this weekend. New stations at Al Jadaf and Creek will open on Sat 1 March. The RTA will open the Creek station close to Deira Gold Souk, while al Jadaf in Bur Dubai is very near Raffles Hotel.

Both stations will be on the green line and are expected to prove very popular with commuters.

More extensions are planned including one towards the Dubai Expo 2020 site near Jebel Ali.

Known for its driverless fully automated trains, the Dubai Metro was unveiled on 9 Sep 2009 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It’s the longest fully automated Metro network in the world, spanning 75 Kilometers!
