Can anyone say no to pancakes? Not me, and Saladicious’ all-day breakfast pancakes are there for the eating at any time! They are light and fluffy and if I close my eyes I imagine I’m in an old school diner in New York City. Their fluffiness was no accident. The lovely Venezuelan Sous Chef Isterling Alvarado says that it took numerous trials to perfect the golden orbs and the trick is finishing them in the oven so they puff up. Culinary genius!
Saladicious’ policy is that breakfast doesn’t have a time limit, so faves like omelettes and bagels are also available throughout the day. With paper-thin crepes, honey or Nutella-covered pancakes, homemade bread and brioche, these are definitely not ideal breakfasts for the ‘no-carb’ set.
Can’t do breakfast without eggs? Saladicious also does a good job with their eggs on toast – three whole eggs (or egg whites) cooked in the oven plain or with cheese, onions, mushrooms, herbs – or the whole lot! A must-try is also the eggs Benedict with salmon, it’s a personal fave and Saladicious’ version is spot-on. Breakfasts are also budget-friendly as they come with extra toast and jam, coffee or tea and juice with a refill. Go get your breakfast on!
