Troubled Amanda Bynes makes Twitter comeback
Former actress Amanda Bynes has ended her Twitter hiatus to post a photo of a self-portrait she drew.
The troubled Hairspray star stepped away from social media in early January after posting a series of ranting tweets, but she was back online on Monday, showing off her artwork - a pencil drawing of a sad young woman, which resembled the former child star. She added the caption, "Hey my loves! Here's a drawing I did!
A previous tweet Amanda posted in December suggested she was planning to become a student at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. At the time she wrote: "I took a USC campus tour yesterday it was sick! I plan on transferring from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising). The campus is sick (good)!" However fellow students at FIDM told reporters at the time that Amanda wasn’t coping, and that she actually dropped out.
Amanda, who completed spells in rehab 2012 and 2013, is scheduled to attend a court hearing to evaluate her behaviour and progress in June. Meanwhile, reports suggest she’s been posting tweets from a secret Twitter account under the name Ashley Banks.
Whatever the case, we hope she’s getting the help she needs.
