A healthy brunch may seem like a paradox, but we’ve found one, complete with chia seed pudding! The chia seed craze has hit Dubai with ‘chia leaders’ like Hot 100er Karen McLean (aka The Secret Squirrel food blogger) sharing recipes for guilt-free indulgent desserts made with this Aztec food staple. It’s carb- and fat-free and loaded with protein, and at Tr!beca it’s topped with fruit compote and is delish! There are also lentils, mozzarella and tomato, and mixed salads to start, with organic beef, chicken and salmon for the mains, and a selection of roasted veg. Even the vino is organic, and there are fruity cocktail stations too. With an urban NY vibe and street art, this is a kid-friendly, laid-back, health-conscious haunt that doesn’t try too hard.
