HOW MUCH: From Dhs250, depending on hair length
THE TREATMENT: The treatment began by shampooing and conditioning my hair using Bamboo UV and vibrant colour products to brighten the hair. Next, with my hair still damp, the Bamboo UV & Rehab Hydration masque was applied to the length and ends of my long hair. The masque combines extracts of ingredients from different corners of the world, including bamboo extract from Asia, and extracts of Kalahari melon from the African desert. Once the masque was applied, my hair was covered in plastic and steamed for 20 minutes. After the plastic is removed there was a 10-minute head massage, to help moisturise the scalp. Finally, my hair was washed again followed by a blow-dry in to the style of my choice. I opted for bouncy waves.
THE RESULTS: I was sceptical about any treatment being able to bring back the moisture to my dry hair, but my therapist assured me that it would leave my hair looking as glossy as Kate Middleton’s! And I have to admit she was right! My hair was left looking the shiniest I had ever seen it and the blow-dry lasted for a few days before I had to wash it again. The salon sells all the products used in the treatment, so you can get the glossy look yourself at home too!
