Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green against daughter's reality TV plans

Chloe Green, the daughter of Sir Philip
Green and heiress to the Topshop fortune, has hit a stumbling block in her
bid to follow the footsteps of that other famous heiress, Paris Hilton, by becoming a
reality TV star. Chloe was offered a role in the second season of the UK show
Made in Chelsea but her father is dead against it, calling the show ‘not
credible’.

Sir Philip has warned Chloe against doing
reality TV as it 'could leave her very exposed', a source told the Daily Mail. He's
not against television but would prefer to see the budding fashion designer, who is in discussions to design
a shoe collection for her father’s company, present a fashion-related
programme instead.

Being in the show would enable Chloe to
spend a lot more time with her boyfriend, 24-year-old Ollie Locke, who stars in
the series. But clearly, daddy doesn’t think that necessarily makes it a good career move.
Chloe’s a feisty girl, though: she recently had her tongue pierced without
telling her parents. Let’s see if she gets her way this time.
