Estee Lauder has teamed up with famous landmarks across Dubai to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. During October the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the Burj Al Arab, the Fairmont Dubai, the InterContinental and the Crowne Plaza will all be lit pink so take a photo and share it to your social media network to show your support.

2. Buy Pink Ribbon Products
La Mer are launching their Pink Ribbon products this month. We’re loving The Lip Balm. 3. Walk For The Cause
The Pink Walkathon is one of the biggest highlights during Breast Cancer Awareness month in Dubai. Thanks to BurJuman’s Safe and Sound campaign thousands of people will hit the streets of the city to participate in the 3.6km walk.

4. Take the K-Lynn Pledge
When was the last time you had a breast check? Lingerie brand K-Lynn has teamed up with Dubai London Specialty Hospital in a bid to get women to go for regular check-ups. You know what they say, it’s better to be safe than sorry!
The K-Lynn Pledge is designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and to encourage women to get regular screen tests done. All you have to do is get down to K-Lynn at Mall of the Emirates and sign the pledge. In return you’ll get a free breast cancer consultation at the Dubai London Specialty Hospital.
Women who take the K-Lynn Pledge and are in need of further treatment will receive mammograms and sonograms for free.
5. Make a Statement
Desert Rose have announced that this year, to support Breast Cancer Awareness, they are selling the Carolee LUX bracelet with all proceeds going to the Friends of Cancer Patients cause. The bracelet is a three-tier string of pearls with a cute pink ribbon tied around the tiers and it comes with a matching pouch. How cute!
The idea behind the bracelet this year was to “celebrate courageous women everywhere,” says a Desert Rose rep. “Wear it together or separately, dressed up or down, show your support and make a statement.”

6. Women of Heart Art Show
There’s an art exhibition on in Dubai and it’s dedicated to Cancer Fighters and Survivors. Women of Heart is a collection of 50 artists from the emirate who have come together to support Breast Cancer Awareness month through their artwork.
The art show is designed to give the audience a chance to interact with the works by voting for their favourite artist. “Every visitor will cast their votes on this interactive voting system set on the BlackBerry PlayBook,” explains a Women of Heart rep. The three artists who receive the top votes win prizes from RIM.
But there are prizes for you too. Visitors to the gallery will receive Palmers products, Karisma Ladies Centre will be painting pink nails for free and Brest Friends will be dishing advice on breast cancer.

7. Put For Pink Ribbon Day
Get ready to take aim on the green! The Abu Dhabi Golf Club is hosting a Pink Lady Golf Day to raise money for Cancer Research UK, an organisation that helps fund cancer research and treatment. So, gather the girls and head to the golf course. Just remember, think pink! All putters must wear pink on the day and the winners of the friendly competition will get to cut a Royal wedding-inspired cake. Yum!

8. Throw a Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Party
Like we needed an excuse to gather the girls and throw a party! But here’s a really, really good reason to… Breast Cancer is the second highest cause of death for women in the UAE so band together and get donating. Think pink: make and sell pink cosmos, cakes, or handicrafts to one and other and donate the money you raise head to Pink Ribbon (www.pinkribbon.com).
