Slam Dunk with Kobe Bryant
Fri 27 Sep
He’s one of the highest-paid athletes in the world (with an estimated $62 million in the bank, according to cash experts Forbes) and this week Kobe Bryant is heading to Dubai. The basketballer will be in town for a celebrity match. Ahlan! columnist and Virgin Radio presenter Kris Fade will be on the team, who will face Real Madrid Basketball legends. Kobe’s out with a torn Achilles tendon so won’t be shooting hoops, but he will be offering an expert commentary from courtside. The event has caused quite a buzz: when Kobe posted the news of his Dubai trip to his 16 million Facebook fans, he got 54,000 ‘likes’!
