Top 10 Things to do in the UAE From the Dizzy Heights of Modesh World to the Dubai Desert Run

31 Jul 2013

Our don't-miss list for the week ahead

Modhesh World
Until Wednesday 28 August
If you haven’t made it away yet this summer and the kids are climbing the walls, it’s time to hit the UAE’s ultimate family Ramadan destination, Modhesh World. Inspired by the colourful mascot behind annual shopping festival Dubai Summer Surprises, the region’s largest indoor theme park comprises heritage land, adventure land, fantasy land, the creativity hall and a fun fair. We suggest the epic laser tag, zip lines and rollerblading for any mini adventurers you might have, while the storytelling, puppets, pony rides and super-cute animals are great for those who prefer something a little more relaxed.

Yas Drive Experiences

Apparently Jude Law loved his Yas Drive Experience in the open-cockpit Yas Supersport SST (a mini version of Le Mans endurance vehicles) so much he told bosses that he’s coming back to do it again! Although Mr Law may have been and gone, you can still bag yourself a driving experience at Yas. The Supersport SST features everything you’ll need for handling a hair-raising day on Yas Marina Circuit’s long straights and high-speed corners.
