Zayed Sports City Stadium is being transformed for the event, with an obstacle course of jumps, ramps and crushed cars. Swan Lake by the Moscow Royal Ballet
Thursday 9 May to Monday 13 May
Dance fans shouldn’t miss this epic event. The classic Tchaikovsky ballet is brought to life by some of the world’s best dancers. It tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette. While hunting, Prince Siegfried sees a magnificent swan. As he takes aim, the swan turns into a beautiful woman. It’s Princess Odette, the victim of an evil sorcerer’s spell, who spends her daylight hours as a swan, swimming in a lake of tears, until at night she becomes a woman again. The spell will be broken only if a prince swears eternal love to her. Highlights include the epic Song of the Swans.
