Hot on the heels of American comic, Malcolm & Eddie star Eddie Griffin, another Stateside act hits Dubai this week. The Wayans Brothers, Shawn and Marlon, are a comedy duo famous for a show called The WB, about their life in New York’s Harlem. They’re part of the Wayans dynasty, a showbiz family of actors, directors, writers and comics. It was the pair’s brother, Keenan, who wrote Scary Movie, the most profitable movie ever to be directed by an African American. He was also behind US TV show In Living Colour, which starred then-unknown Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez and Jim Carrey.INFO: Dhs290 (silver B), Dhs350 (silver A), Dhs490 (gold), Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, 800 4669, www.timeouttickets.com.
