Tom and Nicole's son lands film role
The adopted son of TOM CRUISE and NICOLE KIDMAN has landed his first big acting break.
CONNER KIDMAN-CRUISE will play the son of WILL SMITH in a new movie, according to new reports.
The 13-year-old was hired after wowing casting bosses at an audition for THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7, which will be directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG.
A source said both parents are thrilled at the news.
"Tom is thrilled because Connor went through the auditions like all the other children, and seems to have been given the job based on his talent.
"Nicole's excited too, because Connor has wanted to act for a long time.
Now he's getting his big break."
Smith, who is a close pal of Cruise, will play activist Bobby Seale in the film, about the trial of demonstrators arrested during the 1968 Democratic National Convention.
Cruise also has an adopted daughter, Isabella from his 10-year marriage to Kidman as well as biological daughter, Suri, with new wife, actress Katie Holmes.
Kidman is expecting her first biological child with musician husband Keith Urban.
