For the Holy month, Times of Arabia’s Executive Chef Samer Adib Salim has prepared iftar menus featuring all the regular favourites – hummus, tabbouleh, fattoosh, baba ganoush – and a changing list of specialities, giving diners an opportunity to try something different. Expect to see ouzi bil lahem (rice with green peas, meat and fried pine nuts) and shish barack (flat dough rolled and stuffed with meat, onion and Arabic spices). For fish lovers, there’s siyadiyeh (boiled fish with Arabic spices) and samach al harra (whole baked fish marinated with chilli paste). And for those with a sweet tooth, there’s the ubiquitous baklava and dishes such as konafeh, a shredded filo pastry filled with ricotta cheese, and sometimes fruit and nuts. Enjoy it all!

PRICE: Dhs99 per person.
