Tilda's WEIRD love life!
Unconventional looks, unconventional (for a woman) height - she's 5ft 11 - unconventional style and, what else, but a very unusual love life.
Interest in Brit actress Tilda Swinton, is at an all-time high, following her Best Supporting Actress win for Michael Clayton at the Oscars, and the spotlight on the talented star has also shone on a helluva strange home life!
For, not only does the 47-year-old redhead boast a 29-year-old German boyfriend, she also retains the older father of her twins, son Xavier and daughter Honor, BAFTA-winning playwright, John Byrne, 68.
And, what's more, they all live together!
Intrigued? So are we...
The older man
Occupation:Artist and playwright
How did they meet?Tilda met John back in 1985, but the pair didn't get together until five years later when she starred in a play in Edinburgh, for which he'd designed the set.
He says:"We're amicably living together in the same house, under the same roof. It's extraordinary. We love each other too, in an extraordinary way. We've always been the best of chums and will remain the best of chums for the rest of our lives. We love our children and our children love us. The rest is our business."
She says:"[He is a] phenomenal father. We are the best of pals and adore being parents and are devoted to that project."
The younger man
How did they meet?On the set of 2005's The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, in which Tilda starred as the White Witch and Sandro was working as a visual artist.
He says:Very little actually. Sandro has kept schtum about the couple's three-year relationship, but did recently admit, "I have been to lots of functions - at least a dozen - with Tilda. I sat next to her at the Narnia premiere."
She says: "Sandro and I travel the world together. What you must also know is that we are all very happy."
Tilda's last word...
"I don't have a husband. I've never been married. I have children with someone else, with whom I'm bringing up my children. And I've lived with someone else, my sweetheart, for the last three years, and maybe it's extraordinary that we're really all friends. We are all a family."
Glad that's cleared up then!
