Three Saturday Brunches That Are Perfect For The Long Weekend Ahead
1. Rose Saturday's At Nikki Beach Dubai
This newbie brunch on the block starts at 1pm (believe me, you won’t want to be late), welcoming you into the fold with an array of flamingos, hanging flowers, live music and fantastic food. Whilst the setting is definitely nothing short of picture perfect, the band is what will set your spirits high. Playing two live 45-minute sets full of house favourites, the combination of the beat-boxing genius, the saxophonist, guitarist and of course, sensational solo singer will have you dancing on tables come 3pm – its clear to see the party is definitely in the restaurant on a Saturday, not the beach.
The food and beverage selection is another major highlight of Rose Saturday’s. The buffet selection offers globally-inspired cuisine, with the tastes and spices representative of all the countries Nikki Beach is located in across the world. With the selection changing slightly every week, expect delicious salads, creative sushi rolls, original seafood entrees plus a selection of hot dishes – we loved the beef short rib and the creamy potato gratin. The dessert selection is definitely not to be missed with the addictively delicious Lotus Cake ticking fuelling all our sweet tooth cravings. The drinks selection is also seriously impressive – do not miss out on the ‘Jolly Jolly’ frose, arriving in a flamingo cup and inflatable holder, perfect for the pool (or the bath!). And of course, there is Rose all day!

2. La Cantine du Faubourg's Saturday Brunch
Known as one of Dubai's most laid back brunches, this Saturday food affair encourages you to arrive ready for bed - and a very stylish bed it is indeed! The four-hour feed, known as 'Reveil' encompasses some of our most-beloved things - an all-you-can-eat feast of breakfast favourites, waiters wearing PJs and fluffy slippers gifted on arrival - however, the crowning factor is that all this is served straight up on an actual bed (only in Dubai we hear you say!)
The decendant days starts with a bowl of warm pastries served alongside fresh juices, swiftly followed by the arrival of a newspaper-style menu for you peruse. Dishes range from cold starters and mains to breakfast pastries and desserts - the coffee is good and the house beverage selection even better! One trip from us to you - all dishes are made for sharing so make sure you order plenty to try!

3. Playa Nomade Saturday Brunch
Providing the perfect escape from the city, this newbie beach club has recently introduced their four-hour brunch, serving up Mediterranean vibes, an excellent selection of European dishes and some epic sunsets, all complete with pool and beach access – so when the heat gets too much to handle, the cool pool is never too far away. Set on the blue waters of the Palm Jumeirah at the Rixos, Playa Nomade, which replaced El Chiringuito back in September, is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city - a bougainvillea-draped sanctuary covered in green with hues of white and cream filled with wooden tables, huge plush sofas and interspersed dream catchers, all contributing to the zen-like atmosphere that this spot exudes.
The brunch menu, designed for sharing, offered a lavish selection of Mediterranean favourites transporting you from Dubai to the coast of sunny Spain. Adding to the ease and comfort of this Saturday brunch is the dress code – allowing a “come as you are” approach, it’s casual, with most guests opting for floaty dresses, linen shirts and shorts. To add to the enjoyment, all their brunch packages include complimentary access to the pool and beach area with an additional cost of AED50 per single sunbed on a Saturday, allowing you to soak in a Dubai sunset to finish off the day.
