Wizz Air has announced that it will start daily flights to Dubai from Budapest, starting on October 27, making it easier for travellers to get between the two tourism destinations.
The largest low-cost Central and East-European airline currently flies only twice a week to Dubai, landing at Al Maktoum International Airport. but will increase flights to daily services due to popular demand.
Wizz Airʼs communications manager, András Radó, said Hungarian travellers love coming to Dubai, “Dubai has become one of the most well-liked winter destinations in the last couple of years. The summer within the winter experience will now be available daily to our passengers.”
“The great popularity of our Dubai flights has been maintained among Hungarian travelers ever since its launch in 2013,” he added.
With the increase in the number of flights coming into Dubai, Wizz Air will increase the use of its Airbus A321neo aircraft. This aircraft is one of the most modern ones yet, significantly reducing the negative impact on the environment.
Wizz Air now claims to be the most environment-friendly European airline, after ordering 256 new Airbus 321neo aircrafts.
