There are set to be more flight disruptions at DXB Airport following more rain and flooding
Dubai Airport has had to cancel and suspend services temporarily due to flooding on the weekend, and it's expected to continue throughout today and tomorrow.
Videos of the runways flooded have been circulating on social media, with Dubai Airports confirming the news on its official Twitter account.
However, with additional rain expected later this evening, the disruption is expected to continue for the next 24 hours. Flights were cancelled on the weekend due to the flooding, with more expected in the coming days.
Emirates Airline shared a Tweet that flights would be suspended, cancelled or redirected to cope with the closures. Passengers are urged to arrive three hours prior to flight times.
