They are back on stage for one-off reunion to raise funds for bushfire relief.

The original members of Australian children's act The Wiggles are staging a one-off reunion to raise funds for bushfire relief.

Greg Page, Anthony Field, Murray Cook, and Jeff Fatt will come together for a show in Sydney on 18 January 2020, with money collected from the gig benefitting officials at the Australian Red Cross and the NSW Wildlife Information and Rescue Education Services (WIRES).

"We’re getting the band back together... to raise some much-needed funds to assist with those affected by the bushfires in Australia," the stars announced on Facebook.

"ALL proceeds from the show (tickets and merchandise sales) will be going to the Australian Red Cross and WIRES."

The event has proved to be popular with fans as tickets have already sold out, according to reports.

The quartet, which formed The Wiggles' first line-up upon their launch in 1991, last teamed up onstage in 2016 to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

The bushfires, which began burning in September, have devastated huge areas of land across New South Wales and Victoria, where at least 25 people have died and hundreds have been left homeless, while millions of animals have also been killed in the disaster.
