All-Weather Leather
Blurring the boundaries of fashion seasons is becoming all the more common these days, so it’s no surprise that full-leather ensembles were spotted on this season’s catwalks. From Louis Vuitton and Prada to Proenza Schouler, light airy shades trump winter’s heavier blacks.

Double-dipped Denim
Jeans are so last season – for 2015 you need to think outside the box. From distressed denim dresses to lighter-hued tops, this season it’s about bringing back your faded old favourites and wearing them all at once as per Gucci and Kenzo.

The Disc Earring
Twiggy meets Pattie Boyd as statement earrings make a comeback for Spring/Summer 2015. Everyone from Emporio Armani and Roberto Cavalli to Moschino are championing the trend as subtle studs are firmly relegated to the back of the jewellery box. Oversized circles are king.

Flower Power Bags
It’s not only your dresses that will be emblazoned with blooms next season – it’s time to let vivid floral prints take over your accessories, too. Graphic bags stormed the catwalks at Marni, Topshop Unique and Fendi, and please, clash away!

Summer’s New Jean
While Dolce & Gabbana’s whole show was pretty amazing from start to finale, there was one particular piece we fell for hard – the embellished jeans. Follow suit and amp up your denim with oversized jewels, crystals and embellishment for some day-to-night bling.

The Disco Platform
As the Seventies make a huge comeback this season, they bring with them towering heels. Inspired by the era of Studio 54, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford and Victoria Beckham are all joining the party, and who are we to argue? Team with skinny jeans and a cool crop jacket for after-hours cool.

Fool for Tulle
Making its way from couture to the catwalk to the high street, tulle has been given a more practical makeover this season, meaning it’s more wearable for the masses – yay! Championed by Christopher Bailey at Burberry, this is the one material that is always pretty and polished.

Warrior Woman
It’s time to unleash your inner Grecian goddess as glamorous gladiators will be your new footwear of choice. As seen at Chloé, Valentino and Alexander McQueen, team with draped dresses in eclectic prints for the head-to-toe effect.

All White on the Night
Always a staple for the summer, this year white has gone more minimal than ever. Think oversized silhouettes, loose-fitting trews and linear crop tops, worn head to toe with a pop of neon for a playful take on the trend.

Barbie Hits the Runway
Barbie hitting the Moschino runway was possibly one of the biggest moments of MFW and as one of the most playful trends of the season, we definitely recommend getting involved! As always a new cult accessory was born in the form of the bubblegum-pink handheld mirror iPhone case – snap it up now!

Pile your Pearls
A closet staple, every girl should own some pearls. This season, more is more as models and street stylers layered up with a draped pearl or two. Our fave stores are full of costume-style pieces, so snap up a ready-made strand style or invest in some separates and wear all together.

Saddle Up
Satchels are set to be the bag du jour this summer as proven by the likes of Michael Kors, Jil Sander and Gucci. From buckles and fringing to high-shine finishes, the new-season It bag is one of the most practical yet. Plus there’s loads on the high street. Hurrah!
