Some exciting news! The new tallest hotel in the world is opening its doors in Dubai this week, knocking Dubai's JW Marriott Marquis off the top-spot.
The Gevora Hotel is throwing its doors open on 12 February, and is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road, near DIFC.
The hotel boasts 75 floors and measures 356 metres in height, 232 Deluxe Rooms, 265 one-bedroom and 31 two-bedroom suites. Wowza, that's 528 rooms in total.
Naturally there is a restaurant with a view, it will be located on the rooftop, with panoramic views of the whole city.
And because everthing is more fun in the sky, the hotel's spa will be located on the 71st floor.
According to the hotel's Facebook, it "[combines] European savoir-faire with the essence of Middle Eastern hospitality we are looking forward to deliver exceptional service and creating a memorable experience just for you."
"Whether for a weekend getaway or an extended business trip, you can look forward to relaxing in comfortably appointed rooms," the description continues. "Delighting your taste buds at one of our four restaurants and unwinding at our state-of-the art health club whilst enjoying the best of Dubai’s leisure attractions minutes away from the hotel."
