The Spice Girls Bounce Back With Record Breaking Tour Sales

10 November 2018 turned out to be a momentous day for Sporty, Scary, Baby and Ginger, as the Spice Girls broke records with their world tour ticket sales. Selling over 700,000 during the course of a day and totally selling out in minutes at various locations, the girls are most definitely back with a bang!

18 hours after the tickets were released, Geri Horner AKA Ginger Spice posted “Thank you to all our lovely fans that have come out in full force today. Amazing! @spicegirls #gratitude” whilst Sporty comments “I know you’ve been bombarded with promo stuff lately but I just wanted to say I’m completely overwhelmed with the response to our tour. Wow! I did not expect that. It’s going to be AMAZING!! Thank you so much! #SpiceUpYourLife”

Sadly, however, many fans have been left broken hearted and empty handed after yesterday’s tour sell-out. But the girls have announced that they will be adding a string of dates to their reunion tour, giving eager followers another chance to grab a slice of the Spice.

The Spice World tour will now kick off on 29 May 2019 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester instead of 1 June. The girls have also added two additional dates to Wembley Stadium and an extra date to Coventry.

Baby Spice, Emma Bunton, also took to Twitter to thank fans with a celebratory video captioned “Wow, what a day!!!! Thank you, we love you! #bestfansintheworld
