The Remake of Ghostbusters Doesn't Look Impressive
When will Hollywood learn that some films should never be remade?! The trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, has been released and it’s officially the most disliked film trailer on YouTube ever.

The preview for the all-female remake of the classic 1984 comedy currently has 582,663 dislikes at the time of writing, versus just 210,688 likes. It’s also the only movie trailer (according to ScreenCrush.com) to make it onto the list of YouTube’s Top 100 most disliked videos.

The film hasn’t been released yet and already people predict it will be a massive flop because fans of the franchise wanted the original cast of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson to be in it. I’ve watched Melissa McCarthy before and she’s genuinely funny sometimes, but seeing her play a similar character time and time again is getting pretty boring and the trailer was enough to put me to sleep.
If these highlights are anything to go by, I’m pretty sure nobody is gonna call Ghostbusters.
