What moisturiser is he using? And, where do we get it?
Everyone’s favourite super assassin is back and, judging by the 10 second teaser trailer below hasn’t aged a day.
If you skipped the teaser (for shame), the clip sees Keanu Reeves sprint down a city sidewalk in the rain, still injured from the events of John Wick: Chapter 2 – you know, the film that saw everyone and their grandma, including Ruby Rose, try to put an end to him.
Over the quick shots, you hear a women’s voice say “John Wick. Excommunicado in 3, 2, 1..."
For all those with questions, the good people at Lionsgate have the answers. Or, at least a synopsis.
“Super-assassin John Wick (Reeves) returns with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world’s most ruthless hit men and women await his every turn.”
So, it does seem like the latest installment will be pretty similar to the second. I, for one, wonder if Rose’s character, Ares, will actually utter a word this time round. Time will tell, I suppose.
The full length trailer is set to drop later today.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the multi-million dollar franchise, here are a few of the A-list faces joining the gravy train…
Halle Berry, little is known about her role, but given the fact that she did Catwoman, she already has all the necessary training. American funnyman, Jason Mantzoukas (Dirty Grandpa) will no doubt be bringing the laughs while rising actress Asia Kate of Orange Is The New Black fame, will be playing Dillon – another assassin, I’m guessing?
Familiar faces include Lawrence Fishbone (Bowery King), Ian McShane (Winston), Common (Cassian) and Lance Reddick (Charon).
Here’s hoping that the official trailer gives us a bit more details on what role all the newbies will be playing.
