Hot 100 restaurants 2015
Hot 100 restaurants 2015

Every Wednesday is steak night. Choose your cut of meat, a potato dish, a vegetable dish and a sauce to create your perfect meal with Irish striploin, Aussie rump and tenderloin up for grabs.

The hors d’oeuvres come in large servings. Be sure to not order too many starters because, although delicious, they are rather filling. Having said that, the twice-baked cheese soufflé is a must-have.

Try the dish of the day. It’s a pretty ambitious claim to nominate a fresh new item for the menu every single day of the week, but at The Ivy that’s exactly what they do. Ask the waiter for more details.

It does feel like a British establishment. From the dark wood furniture to the well-stocked bar and the smartly dressed waiters, this restaurant dispenses a relaxed, yet sophisticated British vibe.

Time stops when you’re in The Ivy. The fact that there are no windows with direct sunlight access means that time in the eatery is relative. You’ll forget how long you’ve been in there, so keep an eye on the clock.
