The Crown Prince of Dubai just name-shamed the worst performing government centres
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai has taken to Twitter to share the results of a mystery customer programme, and it's pretty interesting.
In a bid to remain transparent for government service centres, the programme was rolled out, where under-cover surveyors visited the service centres to score them, and the results are in.
HH Sheikh Hamdan shared the best and worst three performers, in a Tweet, committing to improving these sectors.
The top 3 best-performing entities are @DEWAOfficial, @rta_dubai and @DHA_Dubai. The 3 lowest-performing rankings are @DubaiCustoms and @DubaiCulture sharing a position, followed by @Land_Department and @DubaiPP.— Hamdan bin Mohammed (@HamdanMohammed) January 18, 2020
He promised to personally oversee the improvement in the lower-performing centres, setting a two-week timeline for them.
Over the next two weeks, the entities that scored below average in the Customer Happiness Index must submit development plans for their programs and services, and I will personally follow up on progress reports.— Hamdan bin Mohammed (@HamdanMohammed) January 18, 2020
We announced in September 2019 that we would reveal the results of the Customer Happiness Index & our mystery shopper findings with full transparency. Today, I congratulate the government entities that have excelled and have demonstrated their quality services.— Hamdan bin Mohammed (@HamdanMohammed) January 18, 2020
He's promised that goverment sectors will all be high performers, as it's a focal point of the Dubai authorities.
My message to Dubai Government officials and employees is this: A government led by @HHShkMohd should only be driven by exceptional service, settling for no less than top rankings across all indicators.— Hamdan bin Mohammed (@HamdanMohammed) January 18, 2020
