This high-rise abode is a study in natural hues and diverse textures – exactly what Tej had in mind when he commissioned his interior designer. “I gave him a rough layout and a dreamscape in my head,” he says, and the concept was brought to life. Overlooking the Burj Khalifa fountains, the modern, inviting space is utterly relaxing. “It’s very meditative; water heals me, water soothes me,” says Tej.

The master bedroom has a full fountain view and some of Tej’s favourite décor elements. His family of four enjoys nothing more than spending an evening chilling out and watching movies in there.

Of the artwork throughout the house he says, “I like many elements, especially the chandelier and the antique wooden art piece in the drawing room.” However, it’s the Golden Buddha that remains his most treasured piece.
